Rachaya Hike

The Gray Wolf Club at Green Southerners participated in the Rachaya Hike organized by Rachaya Municipality in cooperation with the Rachaya Marathon Association, with the participation of several environmental organizations and members of the municipal councils of Dhahr Al-Ahmar and Bekifa.

The number of participants was estimated at 150 people, who started from Dar Marj Al-Samah along a route partly prepared by environmental friend Issam Talaia, while the youth from the Bekifa “Ajmal Balad” group took care of preparing the Delb area (the destination point and a local snack provided by the Rachaya Marathon Association).

Participants learned about the nature and environmental significance of the area as a habitat for various animal and plant species, in addition to archaeological sites and caves inhabited by ancient humans.

Thanks to Rachaya Municipality, colleagues at the Rachaya Marathon organisation, and environmental activist Issam Talaia for their excellent organization and warm hospitality.
