Cat Family (Felidae)
A Wild Cat was observed in the South
A Wild Cat was observed in the South on (8/9/2018), and this is the second site (location withheld) where Green Southerners have documented Wild Cat activity in the region. Lebanon is home to two species of wild cats: Felis sylvestris tristrami and the larger Swamp Cat Felis chaus, which has become very rare to observe in Lebanon.
