Soren, Guardian of Yahmar Fields

Soren is the second owl that Al-Khadr returned to the wild within a month. The owl was handed over to the association in cooperation with friends on August 9, 2018, after being found with a local citizen who attempted to sell it. After examination, it was found to be healthy but still young, requiring care until it could fly and hunt. It remained under the association's care for 23 days before being released back into the wild in the Yahmar Al-Shaqif area, in collaboration with its municipality.

All appreciation goes to the friends who helped protect this vital bird before its wings could have been clipped, exposing it to death or sale, and to the Yahmar municipality, which shows full commitment and cooperation in promoting environmental awareness and protecting these enchanting birds.
